Gun Crimes How Many More Deaths Is Acceptable In The USA? It would appear from an outsider point of view that America, because of its second amendment rights, is willing to accept the deaths of millions of innocent victims of a mass shooting.

Just over a few days ago, the American public was astonished at the shooting deaths of eight people at a spa, of which six were Asian Americans. Still reeling from these people’s senseless death and trying to come to terms with gun crimes that are a blight on the American systems, Colorada mass shooting happens.

According to various media reports, ten people was gun down in a supermarket in Colorado, of which one was a police officer, a father of seven children. The unspeakable devastation of this crime leaves the city in crisis mode. Apparently, the gunman in police custody used an AR -15 style rifle to commit these despicable crimes.

It has been stated that the killings added to a long line of mass shootings in Colorado that accounts for some of the appalling episodes of gun violence in US history.

One cannot forget that In 2012, a young man dressed in tactical gear burst into a movie theatre in the Denver suburb of Aurora during a midnight screening of the Dark Knight Rises and opened fire on the audience, killing 12 and wounding 70.

1999, a pair of students went on a shooting rampage at Columbine High School near Littleton, Colorado, murdering 12 classmates and a teacher before taking their own lives.

Boulder, Colorado, residents must be in a state of disbelieve and cannot accept that this is happening to them once again. But they must also be asking what will it take before the Federal Government does something. It would appear that nothing was accomplished in respect of the movie theatre shooting or the Columbine high school atrocities.

It is time that someone says enough is enough, and it is not about taking away guns from responsible gun owners but being able to identify those who should not have the ability to purchase a gun. It cannot be that in this age of technology that Americans have to tolerate these mass shootings and the destruction of their communities all across the country.

The second amendment’s rhetoric causes so many young people to purchase guns and then go on a rampage, killing hundreds of people for racism, or other crises that we do not know or understand must end. We need to ensure that this time there will be effective gun control; Americans can not allow the murder of eighteen people in a matter of days to continue without accountability and gun control.

The Federal government must now take on the National Rifle Association (NRA) and effectively dispute their constant lies about the why government want to prohibit the American people from their second amendment rights. These people who are profiting off the sale of guns are not the ones who are losing their children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, wives and husband.

It stands to reason that if the NRA members were dying because of the very guns they promote, they would be so willing to agree to gun control. Still, the dying people are far removed from these bigots, so they do not care so long as they continue to profit off millions of people’s deaths.
