UK police seek J’can ‘Macho’ transvestite

Christopher Brown

A Jamaican man who allegedly poses as a woman to avoid detection is being sought by police in the United Kingdom in connection with drugs offences.

Police say that 36-year-old Christopher Brown, also known as ‘Macho’ and ‘Uncle’, has a very distinct appearance and are hoping that users of railways, on which he travels in the South of England, will recognise him. Besides his female mode of dress, he is described as having scars on his head and is picture with his left eyelid half-closed.

Brown is also described as having a high-pitched and ‘feminine’ voice.

“We are specifically appealing to rail users to think about whether they recognise this man, who has a very distinctive appearance. We know he uses the railway system to travel and has connections in Worthing and London,” said Detective Constable Richard Slaughter of Sussex Police.

Police want to speak to him in connection with the supply of Class A drugs in Worthing, Sussex. Class A drugs are classified by UK authorities as those which have the most harmful effect. They include heroin, cocaine, ecstasy and LSD.

A £500 reward has been offered for information that leads to the arrest of Brown.
