O Lord, our God, We come before You today as a nation and as a people, humbly seeking Your guidance and grace. We lift up the Nation of the United States of America and her Territories, recognizing that our strength and prosperity come not from our own might but from Your divine providence.
“Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” – Proverbs 14:34
Lord, we acknowledge that we have fallen short of Your glory in many ways, but we seek Your mercy and forgiveness. We pray for the leaders of our nation, that they may be guided by Your wisdom and act justly and righteously in all things.
“Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.” – Romans 13:1
We ask for Your protection over the United States of America’s land and her people. Shield them from harm, both seen and unseen, and grant us the wisdom to navigate the challenges of our times. May our nation be a beacon of hope and a testament to Your love and grace.
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.” – Psalm 33:12
Father, we also pray for unity. In a time of division and discord, we ask that You bring them together as one people under Your sovereignty. Let us remember that we are all Your children, created in Your image, and deserving of love and respect.
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” – Psalm 133:1
We commit their nation and her territories into Your hands, trusting in Your plan and purpose for them all. Guide them, O Lord, and may Your will be done in their land as it is in heaven.
