THERE are some questions men ask that are not only embarrassing, but sometimes downright rude. Many men don’t understand why some topics like hair and weight and past lovers are taboo, and many women have had to spend time clueing their men in.
This week we list a few of the questions you should never ask a woman.
1. How many lovers have you had before me?
Most likely she’ll say: “You are the second (or a figure that can be counted on one hand), but I have had a lot of boyfriends.”
The truth: “I don’t know why men ask this,” Michelle said. “I make sure that I never ask them because you know they will turn around the question. What I do is stick to a number and try to remember it so that the next time around I can remember what I said. They always ask again as if they are trying to test you.” While some women will be honest in their response, many will give a much lower figure than the truth. Listen, men, chances are she has had as many lovers as you!
2. How old were you when you first had sex?
Most likely she’ll answer: Any age over age 19.
The truth: She started from primary school, but that is irrelevant information that does not add to your relationship.
3. Is that your real hair?
Most likely she’ll answer: “What do you think? Doesn’t it look real?”
The truth: Embarrassing! This is not a question you ask a woman who has spent thousands of dollars trying to make her hair look as real as possible for you. She really doesn’t want you to know that she has a receipt to show!
4. (After lovemaking) Did you enjoy that?
Most likely she’ll answer: “Of course I enjoyed it, it was great! The best sex I’ve had in a long time.”
The truth: If it was that good you wouldn’t have had to ask, she would have willingly complimented you.
5. Will you cheat on me?
Most likely she’ll answer: “No! I would never do that!”
The truth: What else would she say? Which woman will volunteer information that she is cheating or that she plans to?
6. How mi do? (Do you think I was good in bed?)
Most likely she’ll answer: “You were the best. You sure know your stuff! WOW!”
The truth: Again, if you had to ask you didn’t leave much of an impression!
