The case of Coventry Sarah Hunter,regarding her lies of been rape is unbelievable. When one read of the deception that she perpetrated, it make your stomach churn.
Rape is a very serious crime and one that should not be treated with the contempt that she has shown toward this kind of crime, and her reasons for doing so is so infantile it beggars belief.
She must have been very good at acting to fool even the paramedics in believing that she was truly a rape victim, because they report that she was “extremely upset and hysterical”. Her deception could set back the progress that genuine rape victim has achieved over many years.
Considering that it took society a very long time to acknowledge that even woman that are married can be raped by their husband, what she has done flew in the face of the many rape victim that are living with the nightmare of been violated in the worse manner imaginable.
She wasted police time, as the time they spent searching for evidence that she was raped they could have been using those precious hours working on genuine crime victims.
I hope they throw the book at her, and let her know in no uncertain terms that her behaviour was reprehensible and will not be tolerate by anyone least of all the police service.
To say I am very angry about this case it putting it mildly, and anyone who read this particular story should be angry and disgusted to think that she could do such an appalling thing, as lying about been gang raped.
