Father, daughter arrested in airport cocaine bust

A father and daughter were arrested  when they were caught with cocaine at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay yesterday.

The dad, a 42-year-old welder from Birmingham, England, and his daughter, a 18-year-old student of Balaclava, St Elizabeth, were arrested about 6:00 pm when they were about to check in to board a flight to London Gatwick. A black suitcase that the father was carrying was searched and found to contain male clothing and five jars marked ‘Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula’. Each jar contained a package made of transparent plastic with cocaine weighing two and a half pounds.
