Dudus bounty increased

Coke...bounty on head now $5 million

POLICE this evening increased the bounty on the head of fugitive Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke to $5 million.

Earlier this week the Police High Command announced that US$20,000, (J$1.7 million) was being offered for information leading to his arrest.

But the cops this evening upped the figure in a bid to get credible information on his whereabouts.

Coke fled his former stronghold of Tivoli Gardens as security forces launched a major offensive against gunmen who had barricaded themselves inside the community in an effort to thwart a bid by the security forces to arrest him.

He has managed to elude several police dragnets and remains at large.

Coke is wanted by the United States authorities to face drugs and gun-running charges.

Persons with information on the whereabouts of Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke are asked to call Operation Kingfish at 811; Crime Stop at 311 and Police Control at 119.
