Capturing ‘Dudus’ Will any bounty be enough?

I cannot at the moment see that any amount of bounty is going to be enough for the authority to get credible information for Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke.

The authority must remember that this is the person who, because of who he his, has cause an uproar and violence in Jamaica, which has not been seen since the 1980’s election period.  More than 70 people has lost their lives in the protection of Mr Coke, and that is a testament as to the network of individuals that he has to protect him.

Although the authorities, both in Jamaica and the US has branded ‘Dudus’ a violent and dangerous drug and gun dealers, and some of even associated him to the ‘Jamaica posse’ gang, people where willing to block sections of Tivoli Gardens to prevent his arrest. This attempt to flush in out is a brave one undertaken by the authority, but in my opinion, I cannot see that as sweetener for ‘Dudus’ protectors to willing ‘grass’ in up.

The authority need to come up with a better strategy if they are ever going to get their hands on Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke.  The island, has not even started healing from the aftermath of the scandal and subsequent violence that surrounding the extradition warrant that has been signed in order to send Mr Coke to the US  to answer the charges that the US has laid against him.  For the authority now to be offering bounty for his arrest, makes me believe that ‘Dudus’ his better protected than the authority would have us believe.

They seems to forget the banners that was out during the first few days of the ‘Dudus’ crisis, banners that read, “Jesus die for us, we will die for ‘Dudus’, in that climate do they really believe that this bounty will be good enough for them to, as they put it ‘get credible information’ as to the whereabouts of Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke.  Some how I do not thing so, I have to see this bounty been effective, then I will take my words back.

Good-luck to the authority that put up this bounty – they are going to need a bigger bounty than that – that his my opinion
