California school officials investigate alleged in-class oral sex act

SCHOOL district officials in southern California are looking into reports that two students engaged in a sex act during class.

KTLA said today the incident at Haydock Intermediate School in Oxnard, which is said to have taken place while other students watched a film, reportedly involved an eighth-grade boy (aged 13-14-years-old) and a seventh-grade girl (12-13-year-old). The students allegedly engaged in oral sex.

Parents of students claimed a video was made of the incident and that other students and the teacher were aware of what was occurring. The teacher has been placed on paid administrative leave, pending the outcome of the investigation, KTLA reported.

Assistant Superintendent Sean Goldman said school officials were tipped off about the alleged encounter when they were investigating a parent’s complaint about a bullying issue.
