The Queen, what grace

Irrespective of what one may think about the royal family, and the cost to the British public, when you see the Queen Elizabeth in action, one realise that it is worth the cost to keep such grace.

Looking at the Queen’s visit to Canada and America, this week , one cannot but admire the way in which this 84 year old hold herself with such grace and dignity.  She, is arguable one of the most powerful people in the world, yet when you watch her perform her duties both at home and aboard, one cannot help but admire her humility and the manner in which she make the people around her feel at ease.

I can imagine that there are people who would which to see the monarchy dissolve, but they should take a look at how much joy and pride the Queen bring to the people that she meet around the world.

When she speaks, whether it is at the United Nations or on her many visit to various places, she does so with so much conviction.  She is well aware of the trauma and tragic events that is plaguing our society and she takes a keen interest in world event and when she speaks about these troubling subject one really can feel that they are heart-felt.  If that does not make one feel proud to be British then I do not know what will.

Queen Elizabeth, is really a true ambassador for the United Kingdom and we should never lose sight of that.  She his revered and respected wherever ever she goes and one is hard pressed to find another human being on this planet that is so unblemished.

The last time the Queen visit the United Nation was in 1957, yet she can still recalled the various changes that has taken place in the world, she his up on technology and social attitudes.  So for those who believe that all she does is languish in buck house with her favourite corgis, this week’s visit to Canada and the US should put those kind of thinking where they belong, in the trash.

As head of the Commonwealth the Queen has demonstrated that she is well aware of what is happening around the globe and that these events caused her great concern.

I am proud to be British and hope that Her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth 11, live for a long, long time and keep representing the United Kingdom in the only way she knows how, with grace and dignity.

There are a few world leaders who should learn from the manner in which she conduct herself and maybe we might eventually see a world that find true peace among the varying races that inhabit our planet.
