SAINT International has revealed that international model Georgie Baddiel is set to arrive in Jamaica on Friday May 28 as a special guest at this year’s staging of StyleWeek Jamaica.

“I have been working on this ever since I met her in the Bryant Park tents at New York FashionWeek last September,” Saint CEO Deiwght Peters tells Splash. “She was a goddess of the runway, so much so that many designers had her close the shows. It was amazing to see the fashion crowd applauding when she walked the catwalk,” Peters reflects.

Georgie Baddiel hails from the intriguing French-African country of Burkina Faso. Her impressive editorial résumé highlights by appearances for Russian Vogue, Italian Glamour, Biba Magazine, New York Times STYLE Mag, Interview Magazine, Teen Vogue, Pop Magazine, A4 Magazine, Essence Magazine and many others. Baddiel’s runway prowess is a modern-day, fashion-industry phenomenon. She is one of the most sought after runway models in the world.

“Baddiel’s runway dynamism is a dream to watch, consistent with of our Saint Models-strong,confident,elegant,” Peters reports. She will be chaperoned by her agent Andre Cowan of MUSE Models to which she is signed in New York. Peters expressed his gratitude to MUSE owner Conor Kennedy who made it possible.

“There are many other surprising announcements to be made in the upcoming weeks,” Peters promised.

StyleWeek Jamaica is scheduled from May 27-30. The main runway events include and will involve development and networking events, exclusive receptions and glamorous international fashion shows featuring designers from Europe, the United States and the Caribbean.
