I am absolutely disgusted reading about the charges that have be laid against Lord Taylor of Warwick.
Why would a person in such a privilege position have to resort to fraud. I cannot understand why anyone would choose to blacken their names, their community and their race, with such petty crimes.
Of all the crimes to ‘fall from grace’, mileage and overnight subsistence, I could, understand, not condone, if the man had stolen a substantial amount of money, but to lose one self-respect for such minute sum is unforgivable.
Greed, this will get you everytime and it seems that quite a lot of individuals, either ignore this or they do not believe that they will not be caught.
To have your face plaster over the media for fraud, must be devastating, and he has no one to blame but his self. How can he look at himself in the mirror, knowing that he’s in fact, robbing hard working taxpayers for things he knew that he was not entitled to.
He should be stripped of his title, and sent to prison, that will teach him and all the others that they cannot rob the public and get away with it, irrespective whether they are Lords, or not.
Despicable, is a term I would use for his dishonesty – he should have know better, but I suppose people like him when they are elevated to certain status in life they believe that they are untouchable, or invincible, he sure found out the hard way that it does happen that way and in particular to minority individuals.
