‘Dudus’ – The saga goes on

By Sandrea:- MY GRIPE

Following Attorney General/Justice Minister, Dorothy Lightbourne senate meeting discussions as reported in the Jamaica Observer, in which she stated that there were in fact discussions with US state officials regarding the timing of the extradition of Christopher Coke, and their concerns about public unrest.  This make me believe that the JLP government knew a dam sight more about the Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke operation than they are still prepared to own up to.

Dorothy Lightbourne must really think we are stupid, and she, so she believe, that she can pull the wool over our eyes.  She ought to know that she is dealing with intelligent people not fools.  If she really believe that her blow- by- blow explanation to the senate will make Jamaicans home and abroad, believe that the ‘Dudus’ extradition was honest and above board then she is deluding herself.

The ‘Dudus’ affair, irrespective of the outcome in the US court, will tarnish the Attorney General and the JLP Government for life.  It does not matter how much they sweep their bad behaviour under the carpet, the stench of their involvement will always be there, and will eventually see them lose the next election.

It really make me angry when politicians think so little of the general public that they honestly believe that we are so gullible, and that they can feed us any bull and we will swallow it – Forget it we are much smarter than that.

Michael Manley one said “you can fool some of the people ,some of the times, but you cannot fool all the people, all the times”.

The Prime Minister has already own up to the fact that he had mislead parliament about his involvement with the Manat Phelps affair, and if he could deceive parliament and the people in that manner, if the Attorney General think that she is more believable – dream on.

It is a matter of trust and we do not trust anything that the Government or the judical service say in respect of the Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke affair.

I believe the world is waiting with bated breath for the trail of ‘Dudus’ we cannot wait to here what he has to say.
