A Colombian man, who is part of the popular televised Colombian trade show, is now in the custody of the Manchester police after he was allegedly caught in sexually molesting an 11 year old boy in the parish capital of Mandeville last night.
The incident reportedly occurred at about 8:30 in the restroom of a popular fast food restaurant.
It’s understood that the man was sitting in the restaurant when the boy approached him asking for money. The man reportedly gave the child $500.
Police say the man told the child to go the restroom and followed shortly after.
A Security Guard became suspicious and went to investigate.
The man was seen with his pants down standing behind the child. An alarm was raised and the police were alerted and the man arrested.
The boy was sent for medical examination and then handed over to his mother.
The show is currently being broadcast from Mandeville.
After news broke of the incident, a crowd gathered at the Mandeville Police Station expressing their disgust.
The police say the Colombians have expressed concerns about their safety.
