9/11 Remember – Never forget

I would like to take the opportunity to remember my sister-in-law who died nine years ago in the first plane that hit the twin tower.  My bother  my niece and nephew are today still hurting the lost of  a wonderful wife and mother.

As we remember her with lots of great memory, we also reflect on the fact that we have no hatred in our heart for the people who did such dastardly deed, neither do we hate the ones who  have been behind the orchestration of that fatal day.

We take the view that should we hate them then they would have won, and although their is still considerable mourning, not just for our family but the other families that today are still unable to come to terms with the lost of wives, husbands, children, brothers, sisters, the list goes on,  the one binding resolve that we must have is we, civilised people should never allow uncivilised individuals like terrorist and terrorism to drag us down to their depravity.

So, today let us weep together, hold our families close, remember those that are not with us today and know that wherever they are today we carry their love  with us and although we may not be able to see them they are giving love back.

Fret not thyself because of evil doers their judgement day will come, upon their heads will be the blood of many and the weight of that blood will eventually be their down fall.

I am indeed happy that the burning of the Koran was cancelled, we do not want this day to be remember for negative behaviour and neither will our relatives that has passed away today.

If we allow our anger and frustration to get the better of us so that we began to behave exactly like the individuals that we despise then we are no better than them.  Terrorism will never win so long as we keep our focus, we have as much security services available to root them out and destroy their organisations and put them in prison where they belong.  Let us leave it up to the security services and do not take matters into our own hands.

Once again my sympathies goes out to all that have lost love ones on this day.  May you find the strength to carry on the tenacity to be bold in the face off adversary and the knowledge to understand that for every wrong that has been done to you, eventually the wrongdoer will be punish.  My peace I leave with you, now and forever –  AMEN
