The conservative three strike plan to get people off the dole and leave them vulnerable comes as no surprise to the vast majority of us who have always recognise that the conservative party always targets the weak, frail and the worse off of our society and that they continue to hide, when they are campaigning in an election, their disgust for especially the unemployed with a lot of poppycock and rhetoric.
People never learn until their back as firmly up against a wall. The conservative has never been a party of the people or for the people, every opportunity that is given to them to govern they will always use if to erode social policies and push the poor of society further into despair.
This latest idiotic policy that the coalition has propose, and I am surprise that the Liberal Democrats, are going along with the Tories, but that is the price of betrayal for power, to strip claimants of their benefit if they refuse certain jobs are refuse to undertake voluntary work tantamount to slavery dressed up as trying to get the unemployed back into work.
When did we leave from a G7 country to a Third world one escape me, and I somehow believe that slavery was abolished but obviously I am completely wrong.
This is one of the most ill-thought out suggestion that I have come across and I did not believe this government could have come up with any policy that would outdo those of the Thatcher years, yet again I am wrong. What do David Cameron and his merry men believe is going to happen once this policy comes into effect; clearly he really does not understand the stupidity that he is proposing.
Firstly, as The Archbishop of Canterbury has said that “such a policy could drive vulnerable people into despair”. Well that his a mild statement the reality of this proposal is going to stretch the police service a lot more than they are already because the level of crime and criminal activities will rocket and there is no way that the police service is going to be able to cope with the escalation in crime.
If people are going to be banned for up to three years from the dole then those people still have to live and they are then going to turn to crime in order to exist, and the throw back from that his, whereby now an individual will rob someone and leave them alive the chances are they are going to go further and that person could lose their life because the British Prime Minister decided to take away the benefit from the individual committing the act.
This government must be living in cloud cuckoo land if they really belief that this so-called ‘Three strike policy cracking down on dole’ is not going to have far reaching repercussions for individuals and communities. It makes me wonder where politician get off creating such stupid policies and whether they use their heads or other parts of their anatomy when they decide to create idiotic policies.
Everyone would agree that if an individual is capable of working and work can be found for them then they should work however, you cannot and should not be able to force anyone to undertake voluntary work unless they want to do so. Voluntary work is the choice of an individual and they do so because they wish to participate and demonstrate their humanity in giving their time to good causes. If you force anyone to do unpaid work against their will then that is slavery and abuse of human rights.
The Conservative seems to have missed the incident that happen with the students over the last few days and that is simply because of fees, and they undertakes such violence, destroying Tory office, because they felt they are been unfairly treated, what does this government believe is going to happen when they systematically and willy-nilly start throwing people off the benefit system?
It seems to me that every time that the Tory are out of power for long period of time when they eventually regain power they become rather stupid and idiotic, and this time is even worse because they were not given a mandate to rule the country and the patchwork quilt that they have with the Liberal Democrats make then even sillier that they would have normal been.
The coalition needs to go back to the drawing board and find another way of helping people back into work, without threatening them, without making lives that are already difficult even more so. They need to rethink this strategy because if they do not then this is going to bite them hard. It is time to use brains not brawns, intelligence not stupidity. There must be someone within the coalition that have the intellect to formulate a better policy to help the unemployed, rather than using threats and bully boys tactics. The last time I look if you bully someone and cause them harm than that is criminal offence and this proposal tantamount to that because of the repercussion should this policy come into force?
This government is in the process of creating a vigilante systems because people are going to be fed up of being burgle and attack for their possessions from individuals who have no money and therefore they are going to protect their property and their lives and once again the most vulnerable of our society, the old and frail will become targets of these individuals that have been thrown off the dole system. I hope that this government is prepared for the backlashes of this propose policy.
