There are few things that get my blood boiling and one of them is these self appointed individuals who believe they have the right, not just to tell us what to do, but think they have a divine blessing to play God.
The Catholic church seems to fall in that category. Where do they get off comparing the ordination of women into the priesthood, as tantamount to that of ‘child sex abuse’. These people need to be careful at the way that they depict others, in particular women.
None of the abused that has been undertaken on young boys have, to my knowledge been done by female. It is the so-called untrustworthy, bigoted male priest that have over many years, destroyed a lot of young men lives, by the sexual assault that they had endure during the formative years of their lives.
For the Catholic church to now be playing ‘holier than thou’, pretending that they are God-like and putting females who have work very hard within the organisation, and lumping them with sex abusers, it totally disgusting and they should be ashamed of themselves.
It is no wonder the church can no longer hold a moral ground as they attitude are archaic, backward, and insulting. Those kind of thinking by so-called men of intelligence does not have any place in the 21st century.
I am dam sure that they did not receive any message from God, that he think that women are inferior and should not be ordain as priest and I find the comment very offensive and whoever made that suggestion should be quite ashamed of themselves.
Being furious is putting it mildly, who the hell does these people think they are. Sex abuse is a henious crime, and the people who had to endure this kind of crime does not find it funny.
There is no hard facts that all of Christ disciples were women, why should we have to hold fast to that rule, the ‘Bible’ is a storybook, and a guideline, and I am sure that the Almighty does not care whether, men or women are ordained as priest. I believe what he his more concerned about is the fact that we can live in unity, peace, love each other and praise him.
The Catholic church need to take a good look at themselves, realise that they are human beings like the rest of us, and stop playing God, as they are not equipped to do so. If the majority of catholic women should withdraw from the church the they would suffer a tremendous lost, and they know it. – Stop treating women like second-class citizen, we are not.
