BRITISH pop singer Lily Allen has lost her unborn child six months into the pregnancy.
The star’s spokeswoman revealed Allen was pregnant with a baby boy.
It is the second such tragedy for the 25-year-old who had a previous miscarriage in 2008.
“It is with great sadness that we have to confirm that Lily Allen and Sam Cooper have lost their baby,” Allen’s rep said.
“The couple ask that their privacy be respected and that they be left alone at this deeply distressing time. No further comment will be made.”
Allen is the daughter of British comedian and actor Keith Allen. She announced in the summer that she would be winding down her singing career ahead of starting a family.
