SFO to Ontario flight makes emergency landing

Try Angie's List! ONTARIO, Calif. — A small jet carrying 24 passengers from San Francisco made an emergency landing at Ontario International Airport after its front landing gear failed to deploy.

Airport spokesman Harold Johnson says nobody was hurt Sunday when the SkyWest Airlines aircraft was forced to land with its nose gear up.

Three crew members were on board.

Johnson says the jet is a Bombardier-manufactured CL601R, which seats about 50 people.

The incident is under investigation.
