AN unidentified man, who allegedly robbed several persons at 5 East Greater Portmore in St Catherine, was chased and chopped to death by an angry mob last night.
The man is believed to be in the early twenties is of dark complexion, slim build and about five feet six inches tall. His body was clad in a multi-coloured underpants, white sneakers and grey socks.
The St Catherine South Homicide Unit is reporting that about 9:10 pm the man and his two accomplices entered the community armed with a handgun and a knife and proceeded to rob persons. An alarm was raised and they were chased.
Two of them escaped but the unidentified man was held, chopped and stabbed several times; he was taken to hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.
