Police appeal for missing Cecil Hills teen after arranging to meet men on Facebook

POLICE are appealing for information after Cecil Hills teen Nona Belomesoff failed to return home after meeting up with two men she’d met online.

The 18-year-old was meeting up with the two men she had met on Facebook at Leumeah railway station in Sydney’s south-west on Wednesday morning, the Liverpool Leader reports. She was expected to return home the following day.  The woman’s family have told police that it is completely out of character for her not to return home or contact them.

She met the men at Leumeah Railway Station, at about 10am (AEST), the ABC said.  The Sydney Morning Herald said her mobile phone was turned off.  Police have since spoken to one of the men Ms Belomesoff arranged to meet but he has been unable to assist with her whereabouts.

Ms Belomesoff has a solid build and is 152cm tall with brown shoulder length hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a white shirt and carrying a small bag.

Anyone with information that may help police with investigations is urged to call Liverpool Police on (02) 98218444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800333000.
