My Contribution on this – Mother’s Day

If on this Mother’s day you mother is no longer with you then I hope the poem I came across below will bring you some peace

Gone But Not Forgotten

Don’t think of her as gone away
Her journey’s just begun
Life holds so many facets
This earth is only one
Just think of her as resting
From the sorrows and the tears
In a place of warmth and comfort
Where there are no days and years
Think how she must be wishing
That we could know, today
Now nothing but our sadness
Can really pass away
And think of her as living
In the hearts of those she touched
For nothing loved is ever lost
And she is loved so very much

I have written the worlds below to sum up how I feel about my dear mother.  At 83 years old she still has the strenghten and character that she has always possess.  She has been the rock of my salvation. She has passed on so much to my children and help to raised them as effectively as she raised my sisters and I.  There is no greater love I have known than the love of my mother.  I do not need a special day to tell her so, but today serves as a reminder to know how happy I have been to inherit the strenght and character traits from my beloved mother. MOM THE WORDS BELOW ARE FOR YOU – I LOVE YOU

M. moments when I am overwhelmed by you

O. often times you have been my rock

T.tolerating me when I am depressed and miserable

H.having faith in me when I feel lost.

E.- embracing me whether I need it or not

R. respecting me in the decisions that I have made

To all mothers out there may this day bring you joy peace and happines.  For those who will not be able to spend this day with their mother, remember the joys you share keep them in your hearts and remember they are not forgotten.

A BIG SHOUT OUT TO ALL MOTHERS, WHEREVER YOU ARE TODAY
