Investigators are seeking information about a man who was arrested in connection with the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl and who may have been involved in similar, unreported incidents.
The man allegedly assaulted the girl on April 25 after starting a conversation with her, but the girl pushed him away and fled.
The suspect approached the victim in the Bloor St. E. and Havenwood Dr. area in Mississauga at around 4:10 p.m., said police.
Investigators want to hear from anyone who may have had inappropriate contact with the suspect.
The man is described as South Asian with black and grey hair that reaches his collar. He also has a moustache, speaks with an accent and walks with a distinctive limp. He stands 5-3 and weighs about 160 pounds.
Susanta Kumar Mukhopadhyay, 58, has been arrested in connection with the incident and is scheduled to appear in court on May 31.
