Dancehall artiste Mavado, whose given name is David Brooks, has been re-issued his United States visa.

In a release, his handlers said the issues surrounding the revocation of Mavado’s US Visa in April 2010 have now been fully resolved.

In the statement, Mavado said he is looking forward to getting back to work in the US where his army of fans will once again be able to see him perform after the prolongued absence.

The artiste is currently in New York and gave his first interview on Hot 97 in which he thanked the US government for investigating the allegations against him and also his fans for their support.

The visas of Bounty Killa, Vybz Kartel, Beenie Man, Aidonia and Ricky Trooper were also revoked.
