Four missing after landslide near Montreal

SAINT-JUDE, QUE.—Four people, including two children, are missing after a landslide struck a house northeast of Montreal.

Officials say the house collapsed when the landslide struck near the Yamaska River at about 9 p.m. Monday.

No trace of the four people has been found by searchers, who arrived at the scene shortly after the landslide.

Reports from the scene say several other houses have been evacuated and a truck driver was rescued after the vehicle was hit by the landslide.

Saint-Jude is about 50 kilometres from Montreal.
