Chances are… he’s lying

SOMETIMES it’s crystal clear that a man is a habitual liar, other times it may take the skill of Matlock to decipher the truth. Here are some instances when you should at least be wary:

1. He is sleeping out more than he is sleeping in: If the man is working a normal eight to five job that is in close proximity to his house, he should not be telling you every other night that the boss is asking him to work out of town on a project that is taking forever to finish. Sure, it’s not a strange phenomenon for a man to work out of town sometimes, but you have to look at the nature of his job, the frequency with which he is sleeping out and how accessible he is when he is not in town.

2. You can’t get a dime out of him: Talk the truth now, where on earth have you heard that it is okay to have a man in your corner and he is not paying his dues? Okay, let me put it another way. How can you be married to, sleeping with, dating, or have a child with a man and there is no impact on his pocket? If each time he is to pay a bill, give you some dough, or ‘let off’ financially, he tells you some story about his hefty budget, chances are he’s hiding something… or someone else is benefiting from his cash.

3. He is married and lives with his wife but says the relationship is rocky: The next time a man comes to you with a story like this, you are free to tell him to go take a hike. The fact that he is under the same roof, means that there is something there that attracting his interest.

4. He lives abroad and he cannot visit and neither can you: This might sound a bit off to some of you, but believe me, it happens. Woman, if your husband is living abroad for any length of time and for whatever reason, he says he cannot travel and when you get the opportunity to visit him he says it is not a good time, then that is a big red light. If you or the children do get the chance to visit him but he takes you to the hotel or to a friend’s house, then that is another red light. Seriously, if you are in a relationship don’t you think you should have visiting rights? Well, unless of course, the man in your life is lying.
