Belfast – How long is the feud to continue?

By Sandrea:- MY GRIPE

The situation and violence in Belfast is disgraceful, I thought the days of burning cars and hurting people was over and done with.

What is wrong with people don’t they realise that we have a short life span and the best way to spend our time is trying to live peacefully with each other.  The past is the past and we cannot change it.

Look at the devastation that an idiotic march cause, and the people who allowed themselves to get so riled up in order that they resort to such stupidity, is just as bad.

As far as I am concerned the orange men march is archaic, out-dated and it is time that the people who organised this march realise that it no longer have a place in today’s society.  All it does in fuel anger and rage.

The catholic and protestant community should be trying to co-exist in peace, not dredging up old situation that cause a division in the first place.  I cannot understand people, why must we always go out of our way to antagonise others it is so infantile.

Just look at what happen, today people are finding it difficult to go to work, there are thousand of pound worth of clean-up damages, money which the authority could be using in a more constructive manner.

The authority should ban this idiotic march.
