“IT’S hard watching a baby slowly die. He’s only five days old and you can see how hard his little chest is thumping. He seems to be fighting to stay alive. It’s 9.24 on Wednesday morning this week and he has only 36 minutes of guaranteed life left. After that, he’s on his own. He’s got a heart problem and needs a medication that would be available in any hospital in Australia.”
Those are the chilling words from a report about Gaza . This is what make me so angry with the Israeli authority and believe me I have good cause to be. I cannot imagine what the mother of that child must be going through now. My 19 months old granddaughter undergo open-heart surgery, on Wednesday, whilst the baby in Gaza was fighting to stay alive, my grandaughter had her surgery in a country that can provide the relevant, necessary drugs that she needs, have the skill and qualified surgeon readily available , and with all that knowledge, when she came out the operation the whole family breakdown in tears seeing this tiny child hooked up to so many live saving devise.
I cannot begin to even comtemplate what my reaction would be if I was watching my granddaughter dying because we are in a place where people are preventing us from getting medical aid. These kind of incidents breeds hatred, and hatred breeds terrorism.
We are lucky and I thank God that my family and I reside in a very civilised environment and we do not have to watch our children die needlessly.
The story of what is happening to the children in Gaza, because of the blockade of Israel makes me so furious and Isreal, should understand that for every child that die because of blockade of medical supplies, your people will suffer for it.
Man can only do so much, but Israel need to know that God is watching you from a distant, and the fact that you and your actions is killing his people, will not go unpunished and when God punishes a nation they are punish. Look in the bible and read of the pestilence that he can reign down and remember, that has he said he his a jealous God, and you are hurting is people, especially the children, be warned Isreal, start acting like their is some humanity inside of you or else you are going to face a wrath much more terrible than ‘Hamas’. can every do to you.
The time has come to stop all this stupidity, the time has come for both the Israeli and Palestinians to come to an agreement in which both country can grow and flourish, the time has come for all militant factions to say, it is our children that is suffering because of this stupid war, and we will not allow another generation to have to go through this again.
None of these dying children, has thrown a bomb at Israel, none of these innocent children has done anything to the people of Israel and yet they are the ones who are suffering. How can any family in Israel with young children go on with their lives knowing of the devastation that is happen a couple of mile away.
It is disgraceful and if the rest of the world do not do something about this then everyone of us who call ourselves human beings will one day have to give an account of why we allow this to happen.
