Following the newspaper report regarding the two brothers who have been found guilty for sexually assaulting their 6 year old sister, I am mortified.
What the hell is happening to our world? When children as young as 15 and 13 are make to sign sex offender register, because the crimes they commit are so appalling and gross.
The natural tendencies for siblings is to care for, protect each other, when that trust is violated is it devastating for the families. Where would these children learned this inappropriate behaviour in order that they would do something so vile to their sister. Has morals in society breakdown so much so that even children do not know where to draw the lines, where decency is concerned.
I am trying to wrap my head around what could make these two boys do what they did and I cannot seems to find an adequate answer to justify such outrageous behaviour.
A lot of parents will be reading this report an start to wonder if their siblings are behaving in this way, and it is so unjust for the the bothers and sisters who care for each other and do not have any sexual feeling for each other.
I am really troubled by this trend that is happening in society, and if we are to prevent these types of atrocities we have to get back to the basic of how children are raised and ensure they know the difference between right and wrong. Ensure they are aware of the attitudes that will not be tolerate by society or their parents.
