Blast at Kabul hospital kills at least 3

A POWERFUL blast has struck a military hospital in Afghanistan, killing at least three people and wounding many others.

The blast occurred inside a tent on the grounds of the Mohammad Daud Khan military hospital in central Kabul.

Afghan media is reporting that it was a suicide attack and another bomber might be on the hospital grounds but authorities haven’t confirmed this.

Defence Ministry spokesman General Mohammed Zaher Azimi says the army is still investigating the cause of the blast adding that the area targeted was used to train doctors.
