A MILLIONAIRE’S daughter appeared in court today accused of stealing $7700 worth of electronic goods in the recent riots.
Laura Johnson, 19, faces five charges of burglary after the haul was found in a car that she was allegedly driving.
A branch of Comet in Charlton, southeast London, was raided during the unrest that swept across England last month, and stock including televisions and mobile phones was stolen.
The teenager appeared today at Camberwell Green Magistrates’ Court, in south London, supported by her parents.
Wearing a long grey cardigan, jeans and brown boots, she sat in the well of the court during the brief hearing.
