Chico man gets 7 years in child pornography case

SACRAMENTO, Calif.—A 70-year-old Chico man has been sentenced to seven years in prison on child pornography charges.

Federal prosecutors say James Flocker was sentenced Tuesday after being convicted earlier this year of transporting child pornography, distributing child pornography, and possession of child pornography.

During the trial FBI agents, a records custodian from Yahoo and a computer forensic expert testified that Flocker had exchanged pornographic pictures with an 18-year-old man in South Carolina.

Prosecutors also said when authorities raided Flocker’s DVD production business in Chico in October of 2004 pornographic images involving young boys were found on Flocker’s computer.

As part of his sentence, Flocker will also be on supervised released once he gets out of his prison.
