A 23-year-old man of Bull Bay in St Andrew has been implicated in the murder of John Terry, honorary consul to Jamaica from the United Kingdom.

Charged with conspiracy to murder is Richard Ewan, also of a Reading address in St James, who worked as a security guard in Montego Bay at the time of Terry’s death.

The charging of Ewan followed an interview session yesterday afternoon with investigators.

The honorary consul was found strangled at his Mount Carey home in St James on Wednesday, September 9, 2009.
