Police have charged a 21-year-old man with the murder of a 16-year-old girl in an east London takeaway.

Agnes Sina-Inakoju was shot through the window of Hoxton Chicken and Pizza, in Hoxton Street, Hackney, on 14 April. She died two days later.

Leon Dunkley, of east London, has been charged with murder, Scotland Yard said. A 16-year-old boy was released on bail until June.

Mr Dunkley is due to appear before Westminster magistrates on Tuesday.

Agnes was described as a “charismatic, ambitious, loving and caring girl” by her family.

Agnes had visited Oxford University with friends a week before she was murdered.

A post-mortem examination held on 16 April at Poplar mortuary gave cause of death as a gunshot wound.
