A 34-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter after a dog killed a woman in south London.
The man was being questioned at a south London police station after turning himself in voluntarily, police said. He was also suspected of cultivating cannabis.
Barbara Williams, in her 40s, suffered multiple injuries in the dog mauling and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Scotland Yard said the dog – believed to be a Belgian mastiff – was shot dead by police.
Police said earlier they wanted to track down Alex Blackburn Smith, believed to be Williams’ partner and the animal’s owner.
