A man was arrested yesterday after he killed his sister during a dispute between the two in Peggy Barry district, Westmoreland yesterday.
The brother, 29, is now in police custody.
Police reports are that at about 11:45 am, the siblings were at their home when a quarrel started over the ownership of a house. During the fight the brother – said to be of unsound mind – used a piece of stick to hit his 35-year-old sister, Annette Daley, in the head. She was taken to the Savanna-La-Mar Hospital where she died.
