SHANGHAI, China — Usain Bolt has won the 200 meters at the Diamond League meet in Shanghai with a time of 19.76 seconds.
The reigning world and Olympic champion over 100 and 200 meters was never tested today, looking relaxed as he finished ahead of Americans Angelo Taylor, second in 20.34, and Ryan Bailey, third in 20.43.
The win continues Bolt’s strong start to this season that began with a year’s best 9.86 seconds in capturing the 100 at Daegu in South Korea on Wednesday.
Earlier in the Shanghai meet, Carmelita Jeter of the United States claimed victory in the women’s 100 meters with a time of 11.09.
