These are images of a heartless mugger who snatched a bag from a pregnant woman after pushing her down the stairs of a railway station.
The man grabbed the young woman from behind and pulled her down the steps at Palmers Green. He grabbed her bag which contained items including jewellery, a mobile phone and £5 in change.
The 18-year-old woman, who is six months pregnant, was not badly hurt but was left severely shocked by the attack on April 16.
Detective Constable Jon Howlett, of British Transport Police, said: “The woman was making her way out of the station when she became aware of a man running up the stairs from behind. The man grabbed her round the throat and upper body before pulling her down six or seven steps and on to the floor.”
Dc Howlett said the man then ripped her handbag from her shoulder and ran out of the station. He said: “To attack a young, pregnant woman is despicable. We strongly urge anyone who thinks they can help to call us.”
The suspect is described as white, possibly eastern European, about 5ft7in tall and in his early twenties. He had very short brown or blond hair and was wearing a white and grey hooded top, blue jeans and black trainers.
