I was furious this morning when I wrote about my disgust that Nick Griffin was invited to Buckingham Palace garden party, I am elated that his invitation has been withdrawn.
He should make to understand that we are not willing to tolerate his racist and bigoted attitude in a civilised society. We can be different, we can hold differing opinions, we can also strongly voiced our opinions. However, any personal or organised opinions the incite racial tension among people should not and will not be tolerated from anyone.
Freedom of speech is very important and we should never strive to curtail people’s opinions what we must not tolerate is an individual opinions which could case mayhem and promotes anti-social behaviour.
It sadden me to think that individuals like Nick Griffin are so closed mind that they cannot see the beauty in the differing races that inhabit out planet. Individuals like him have their heads so far stuck up their asses, that they fail to understand that this world could not exist with any one race, and I would not want to wake up and find that everyone on our planet was Black, or White, or Asian, or any other race.
The fact, that there are so many different races, we bounce off each other, we adopt some of each other’s culture and we celebrate the fact that we can enjoyed the varying differences we have. Some of the culture are very hard to understand, but we must spent the time to change those that we can, and do so without having any kind of hatred for someone because they have a different colour.
I am sure that many people will be delighted that his invitation has been withdrawn and he should now sit back and realise that his comments about this being ‘anti-british’, is far from the truth, in fact it is typically British to right any wrong.
The Queen being the Head of the commonwealth, his invitation would have been an effrontery to all the Caribbean islands – thank God commonsense rule.
