The great majority of western people would agree that fundamentalist within the Islamic community, have undertaken atrocities which have left many people dead, injury maimed and disabled. That argument is not debatable it is a fact, as every day we read about these horrendous bombing campaign that they have undertaken around the globe.
However, having said that I must disagree with Geert Wilders and is proposal to start a movement that ban Islamic immigration. That is like saying that all black or white people are the same. Every race on this planet have commit some kind of atrocity, and it is the minority within these races that have commit these crimes, and criminal activities.
It is important that we do not get so carried away by the disgust we feel when another bomb goes off and some fundamentalist Islamic group takes credit for the mayhem they cause, in that we tarnish all Islamic individuals with the same brush. There are people within the Islamic faith that do not agree with these fundamentalist, and they feel betrayed by what these people are doing and citing the Muslim faith as the reason for their stupidity.
If we are to fight Islamic fundamentalist effectively, we cannot, and should not isolate the entire supporters of Islam, because we are afraid that they are going to be bombers. We have to involved them in what every measures we are going to take in order to drive the fundamentalist from this group.
The methods that Geert Wilders is proposing to deal with this problem is flawed and very dangerous, we do not want to make the decent people of the Islamic faith believe that we are tarnish them with the same brush that we tarnish the idiotic fundamentalist with. Geert Wilders is going down a very slippery road and he needs to be very careful about the movement he his initiating, as it could severely back fire and instead of curtailing the problem, escalate it dramatically.
If Mr Wilders is professing that he his not ‘racist’ then pray tell why would he want an immigration ban on Islamic people.
