Iran – Should not be confused with Iraq

By Sandrea:- MY GRIPE

Former EX CIA Chief Michael Hayden suggestion in the press that military action against Iran is more likely because no matter what the U.S. does diplomatically, Tehran keeps pushing ahead with its suspected nuclear program. That is a very ambitious statement for the Ex CIA Chief to make.  However, he must be aware of one fundamental fact, Iran is no Iraq, and they will not be a push over like Iraq.

That section of the world do not want anymore destabilisation, and although many people would be very unhappy if Iran should ever get into the position to have nuclear capabilities, we should find every effort to curtail Iran by diplomatic method.

War is a very ugly thing and we should only go to war when there is situation that fundamentally threathen the survival of our planet.  We need to learn from the mistakes make in going into Iraq, nothing has been resolve, people are this dying, fundamentalist are still blowing up people, and the country is in a state of chaos, and no should be in any doubt that Iraq is in a dire situation. When the US pull out of Iraq shortly, I cannot believe anyone can be under the illusion that they are leaving a stable country.

What I am saying however, is that Iran will not be as easy to invade and we should not lose sight of that.  I am very concern at the path that Iran is taking in respect of nuclear, as no one can win a nuclear war, and it worry me to think that should Iran get their hand on nuclear weapon then the possibility is that they could fall in the hands of terrorist and individual who has no respect for human life.
