A MAN has been charged with the murder of two women whose charred bodies were found in a burnt-out four-wheel drive vehicle in Perth.
In the Perth Magistrates Court on Monday, Brett Richard Nicholas Kuzimski, 35, was charged with murdering Melanie Carle, 26, and Kellie Maree Guyler, 32.
Their bodies were found in a burnt-out Toyota Land Cruiser at Wattle Grove near their home in Carlisle in Perth’s east on May 1.
Police earlier this month charged Mr Kuzimski with criminal damage by fire but said they expected to charge him with murder.
A bald Mr Kuzimski appeared by video link from prison with his arms crossed as he said he understood the charges.
He was not required to enter a plea and was remanded in custody to reappear in the Stirling Magistrates Court on June 2.
