BP Oil spill – Why are some people nit-picking?

By Sandrea:- MY GRIPE

I am writing this but I cannot believe what I am saying, you may be wondering why?

Well, I find myself agreeing with Prime Minister David Cameron.  I am proud of the way in which he has conducted himself and not allowing nit-picking people in this country, causing him to have a go at President Barrack Obama.

It is a fresh thing to see that the Prime Minister recognise that if the boot was on the other foot we would have strong words for the Americans.  If a US company had the accident that BP has and we had oil pouring out all over our shore-line we would have a few choice words to be aiming at the US.  Therefore it is not a crime for the US President to have a few choice words for BP and for some people in this country to be saying that the President is having a go at the British is very wrong.

I am rather proud that our Prime Minister did not listen to those wailing voices and conducted himself in an appropriate manner and one befitting the leader, and Prime Minister of the country.

After-all the oil spill is happening in the US and President Obama has a responsibilty to the people of the United States of America and as such he has every right to make the comment that he did by saying “whose ass to kick” over the problem, was a mild saying, there are other world leaders who would most probable have a few stronger words.

Well done Mr Cameron, you have made me very proud.  I hope you continue to behave in this manner and show that you have the integrity and fortitude to govern this nation now and in the future.
