Body found in metal drum

The body of an unidentified man was found in a metal drum yesterday morning on Asquit Street, in the Kingston 12 area.

The STAR was told by the Constabulary Communication Network that the discovery was made around 7:45 a.m. by residents in the area. When the police arrived, they found that the hands and feet had been bound and had several chop wounds all over the body along with a number of other bruises.

The body is of dark complexion, slim build and about 173 centimetres (5 feet 8 inches) tall. The police also theorised that the dead man was in his early 40s.

The Denham Town Criminal Investigation Bureau is conducting investigations.

    • You cannot allow yourself to be bullied by these people and they are not stopping me from going to Jamaica. If you live your life in fear then you do not live any life at all.
