WET Wet Wet keyboard player Neil Mitchell today admitted an assault on a woman.
Mitchell, of Cleveden Road, Glasgow, was due to stand trial at Kingston Crown Court this morning but changed his plea to guilty.
He had previously denied assaulting Olivia Warren, causing her actual bodily harm, during a court hearing at West London Magistrates’ Court in October.
The 44-year-old was released on bail following the nine-minute hearing in front of Judge Susan Matthews QC at the Surrey court. He will be sentenced there on June 14.
Mitchell has been banned from contacting Miss Warren, either directly or indirectly, and from entering Brookville Road, Fulham, south-west London.
