UK jury convicts ex-priest of sexual abuse of boys

LONDON—A jury in Britain has convicted a former Roman Catholic priest of 21 charges of sexual offenses against boys.

The jury found James Robinson guilty on all counts Friday. Robinson had denied the charges.

Robinson had left Britain in 1985. He was arrested in Duarte, California, last year, and later extradited.

Prosecutors said the abuse began in 1959 and continued after Robinson was ordained in 1971.
