A 29-year-old man has been arrested by Homicide Squad detectives after the body of a man was found in a house at Doncaster East yesterday.
The Doncaster man is being interviewed by police but at this stage no charges have been laid.
Police were called to the house in Doncaster Road, in Melbourne’s northeast, just after 11am yesterday after the body was found by a friend who came to visit the man.
They said the man’s death was suspicious.
Police said today that a post mortem will be required to determine the cause of death and the arrested man is assisting them with their inquiries.
The name of the dead man has not been released.
