Two NATO troops killed in Afghanistan

NATO says two of its service members have been killed in insurgent attacks in southern Afghanistan.

The alliance says both deaths occurred yesterday.

The international coalition released no other details about the attacks and didn’t provide the nationalities of the killed service members.

NATO yesterday first reported one of the deaths, then released the information about the second fatality a bit later.

The deaths bring to 26 the total number of NATO troops killed in Afghanistan this month and 232 this year.
