As the authority and the people of Connecticut struggle to come to terms with the atrocity inflicted upon their community, the blood of the innocent is screaming out to us, saying never again, let us never forget them.

Let their names be burned into our memory, and as a society we will make an affirmation to get guns off our streets, to ensure that ease at which these weapons are available will be abolished and that the next generation of school children will have the protection that they deserve because of those brave souls that had their lives taken from them.

There can never be any motives that would explain the reason that, in my opinion a deranged individual with access to semi automatic rifle decide to slaughter these children and their teachers.  Society must stop finding justification for these heinous crimes, we should not be concerned with the act, we must be concerned with preventing them from occurring.

The families of the dead will be finding it increasingly difficult to cope with the deaths of their children and to read where the medical examiners state that the victims were shot multiply times and the injuries were devastating and the worst that he and colleagues had ever seen, is an indication of the horror that these innocent experience, and one that make anyone believes that having a gun is a right rather than a privilege think twice about their warp ideology.

There seems to be a sick mentality of individuals to target children, mere hours before Connecticut nightmare began, twenty two children and an adult were injured outside a primary school in central China.

There is no way that the education system in the United States can cope with any more of this incident and the only way in which they are going to prevent this happening again is to take guns off the streets, having a gun should be made illegal and everyone, even those with registered license guns should be made to turn them in.

Schools and other education institution should not be made in a Fort Knox style environment, but until the government can get these guns out of the hands of potential killer every school should have a security force protecting the children.  The fact that this may be seen as not an ideal situation is neither here nor there the emphasis is, protection and we must do everything in our power never to have to list the names anymore children killed in our schools, by individuals with semi-automatic guns.
